What do we get when we mix lights, music, dancing, a very elegantly boxed, delicious picnic dinner of lobster, filet of beef, and mixed berry tart with an enthusiastic, fun loving group of folks? A magical night and generous fundraising results for our dear Small Point Club. “Dancing in the Street” was a success in every way and set the bar high for future Club events. Kudos to our auctioneers Grey Terry and Jessica Gray; Rob Tenney for her leadership and vision for this event; her fundraising committee Polly Crawford, Diane Eberle, Jillian Herrigel, Allyson Terry, Nancy Hoffman (oh, those delicious tarts!), Susan Hunt, Martie Janeway, Sarah Pope, and Kath Vaughan; the lighting crew John Crawford, Sewall Janeway, and foreman Bob Vaughan; and in capital letters BOB KENNEDY AND HIS SMALL POINT CLUB TEAM!
Thank you to all who participated and special thanks to all silent and live auction bidders. You opened your wallets in support of a place dear to our hearts and community.
