Things are coming together well for the upcoming season. There is a great deal of excitement from the Board, staff and members with whom I have spoken. We already have over 50 reservations for the Sit-Down Salmon Dinner on July 4th. If you would like to make a reservation, please give me a call or an email.

New this year The club will be open as a B&B on weekends in June, starting Friday June 7th. So come on up and enjoy the club in June on Fridays and Saturdays. As we did last year, the bar will be open every Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 7 pm. We will be having our traditional “Cocktails on the Porch”Sunday May 26thfrom 5 to 7 pm. This event is open to all Small Pointers! Feel free to bring some hors d ‘oeuvres if you like.

Chef Rob is anxious to get up to the club to start his preparations for the season. He had a good winter in Florida and can’t wait to get up north. Gary is already working on some new creative cocktails to insert into his cocktail menu.

The service team will once again be a mix of college students and our tenured team of servers. Training is an ongoing program as we try to offer the members premium service in all areas.

Expanding the dining hours for dinner proved to be successful last season so we will continue taking reservation starting at 5 pm. I would like to remind all members and their guests staying at the club to make their dining reservation prior to their arrival to ensure your preferred dining time. Despite our efforts to generate diners on Monday nights we have not been able to get but a few to attend. Therefore, the Board has decided that we will be open for breakfast, lunch and cocktails only on Mondays. We will have a list of other dining alternatives for guests staying at the club.
