As a Small Pointer you likely know The Club’s rubble sea wall and septic leach field suffered serious damage during the back-to-back January storms that rocked our coast, and… while we are considering safer places to rebuild the field in the future, work is underway now to be sure repairs are complete in time for The Club to be ready for the 2024 season.

This year’s repairs will likely exceed $5,000 – an unplanned hit to The Club’s coffers – and while there are funds to cover it, they will need to be replaced before we can proceed with other important projects.  So… if you’ve ever used the bathrooms at The Club (and we’re pretty sure you have!)… here’s your chance as a community member to pay things forward.

More than 20 talented artists have graciously donated paintings, photographs, and pottery pieces to an online auction we’re calling… “THE GREAT SMALL POINT CLUB ART FLUSH”

100% of all proceeds go to the repair fund and you’ll likely recognize most of the names of the gracious contributors, so… get in there now and show them you appreciate their efforts and the community we all love.

All bidding is online, open NOW… and will run through June 24th.

It’s easy to participate and you can register and bid at:https://small-point-club.betterworld.org/auctions/small-point-club-repair-fund-auc

This is as much a win-win as it gets… you gain a new piece for your personal collection… and you won’t have to walk home when you take that needed “break” next time you’re at The Club!

We really appreciate you being a part of this effort.  The FLUSH Organizing Crewe, the Club Board, and everyone who will use the septic field this season thanks you!

If you have difficulty registering or bidding, please let us know.
