Tim Mitchell Art Show Opening

Tim Mitchell will kick off the Club’s season of weekly community art shows with a series of limited-edition photographs. Tim is generously donating all profits back to the Small Point Club.

Art Show June 30 – July 7 

Contrary to what his parents have told people for years, Tim is not a professional photographer.

He is passionate about taking pictures and has been shooting since an early age. Tim studied photography at The Maine Photographic Workshops in the late ’70s and moved on to NYC where he worked in the B&W labs at Time, Inc. He was fortunate to meet numerous professional photographers for whom he started assisting and traveling the globe.

Assisting segued into location scouting and from there he became a producer for advertising photographers – traveling further and more often. After reaching a peak of 200 days a year on the road, Tim decided he’d had enough and started representing commercial European photographers and CGI/3D studios within the USA.

Nearing 45 years in the business, Tim is looking forward to retiring in the next “couple of years” and sharing more time with his wife Liz and their English Cocker pups.
