Kevin will tell us about his unusual art projects, especially the one he is currently working on here in Phippsburg. He states: “The goal of my work is twofold: to provide the contemporary community with an artwork with which they identify while addressing a viewer 1000 years in the future in a language they may understand. Artist of the Week ~ Tom Hinkle ~
Tom Hinkle has been a professional artist for twenty-five years; previously he was a dealer in fine arts. Best known for Maine Coast scenes, his subjects also include city scenes and historic buildings, reflecting his deep interest in historic preservation (he also does restoration of historic houses).

UPDATE: Joint SPSS SP Club Fundraiser a SUCCESS!
It was as hot as Hades but people came and they shopped. Almost $1000 was raised. We are so grateful to those who made purchases. Twenty percent of the proceeds went to two good SP causes: the Small Point Club and the Small Point Summer School. We had representatives from all roads, all ages, and men and women. Petroglyph Walk ~ August 5 at 10:00am
Petroglyphist Kevin Sudeith will be leading a tour to see one of his petroglyph carvings installed along a Phippsburg hiking trail. Participants will meet at the Center Pond preserve parking lot.
Sneakers will suffice for footwear

Our first Cocktails on the Porch Zoom was a success!
About a dozen members attended, including several who won’t be able to travel to Small Point this year and were happy to see the Cocktail Cam and talk to other members. Look for a blast announcement later this week for a Friday or Saturday COTP.
