Katie Blair St John has spent every summer of her life in Small Point, breathing in the colors, composition and atmosphere. A great admirer of art from Italian Renaissance to Contemporary, she foolishly was intimidated from taking painting classes because other students appeared to already know what they were doing. Local painters, Frank and Phyllis Mason and Mary Ester MacFadyen became her inspiration.
