On behalf of the Small Point Club Board and Manager Bob Kennedy, I am thrilled to announce that the Club will be open for overnight guests and dining this summer, starting Friday, June 25th. We will follow the State of Maine’s guidelines. As of May 24th, indoor gathering capacity increases to 75% and outdoor to 100%. We’re Listening! Survey results

By |2021-04-22T22:59:34-04:00April 19th, 2021|

The Club’s first use of an online membership survey was a great success! The 239 responses from our 350 members gave us a wealth of information about our members and their feelings about services, past, present, and future. Thanks to all of you who took the time to respond.

Some highlights:

  • Although half our members are 66 or older and have been members 16 years or more, 1 in 5 are under 50, and 2 in 5 have been members 10 years or less.
  • Many stay in […]

REPORT TO SPC MEMBERS

By |2020-09-30T19:39:32-04:00September 26th, 2020|

September 26, 2020

Because we were unable to have our annual Shareholder Member meeting in person, we are providing the following report to recap a very odd and difficult 2020 season.

We decided to share this report with all Club members and friends because we thought it would be of interest to everyone.

The report is organized into Committee Chair summaries, outlining what was done in each of the many areas that it takes to operate the Club.  We hope you will find this interesting, and here’s to the 2021 season […]

Club fully closed as of September 8th

By |2022-11-04T19:31:47-04:00September 7th, 2020|

We very much missed seeing everyone in person this summer, but we hope next year’s season will be more “normal” and allow us to welcome overnight guests, open the dining room and Low Tide Grill, host art shows and speakers at the Club, and meet on the porch to savor the most beautiful view in the world.

We will keep our membership informed about our plans, especially as updates to our Club use policies become available.

At present, the Board is compiling a Shareholder update on this […]
