Tom Hinkle has been a professional artist for twenty-five years; previously he was a dealer in fine arts. Best known for Maine Coast scenes, his subjects also include city scenes and historic buildings, reflecting his deep interest in historic preservation (he also does restoration of historic houses).
Tom divides his time between Portland and Phippsburg, with studios in both locations. He is an Associate of Centre Street Arts Gallery in Bath, with a changing selection of works every six weeks. He has had solo exhibits at the Small Point Club in Phippsburg.
