This is your official notice of and invitation to the annual Small Point Club Shareholder Member Annual meeting on Sunday, August 20 from 10AM – Noon at the Club. The meeting will be held outdoors, weather permitting, with a brunch for Shareholders immediately afterward. We welcome all our Shareholder Members to attend. It is important that Club Shareholders be kept up-to-date on the Board’s actions and given the chance to provide feedback and discussion in a group setting.

Reservations are required so that we can manage numbers for staffing and safety. Please call Roe Torrisi at the Club – 389-2200.

Shareholders’ Voting Agenda

For Shareholder:

There are no candidates for shareholder membership this year because the Board voted a brief moratorium on the sale of shares last fall while discussing raising the price of a share of stock. It has been $100.00 per share for decades – although in 1897 when the Club was established, the price was $500.00 a share. The Board was also pursuing the possibility of the Club becoming a non-profit. The Board will likely lift the moratorium within the year when these issues are settled.

Instructions for proxy voting

There are 3 ways to return the proxy to the Club:

(1) Drop the filled-out and signed proxy in the mail to:

(3) Scan the completed, signed proxy form and email to: proxy@smallpointclub.com

Proxy forms delivered in person (by you or someone doing it for you) must reach the Club by end of the day, Saturday, August 19th. Mailed proxies should arrive at the P.O. Box no later than Friday, August 18th. Scanned/emailed proxies need to arrive at the proxy@smallpointclub.com email address before 9:00 AM on August 12th. Please be sure to sign your proxy, as we cannot accept proxies without a signature.
