RogerFarrington was hired to document the occasion in New York City. Onephotograph of John & Yoko entering the Hit Factory on August 7th, 1980was published worldwide along with the official press release announcingthe ex-Beatle’s return to the music business after a 5 year hiatus. Fourmonths later John Lennon was assassinated by a deranged fan outside theDakota apartments where he lived with his wife Yoko Ono. Roger will describe his experiences that day and show some of the photos after which Ken and Roger will field questions from participants.
