The hike will be led by Club member and Phippsburg Land Trust Board member Barbara Knuckles, who will describe the Land Trust's extraordinary partnership with Kevin Sudeith, which includes work with Bowdoin College and Phippsburg Elementary School. “A Peace Corps Experience” Take a trip into the lifestyle and culture of Vanuatu through the experience of living in a small subsistence agricultural community on the island of Santo. The presentation will go into the details of the Peace Corps experience and provide insight into the growing pains of a developing nation in the midst of rapid cultural and economic change.
